EOTC Week Day 3

Wednesday was so fun because we did some orienteering. There were 4 maps, Map 1, Map 2, Map 3 and Map 4. There were numbered things poking from the ground. Map 1 was the easiest with only North, South East, West, Northwest...and started on the 1st stick. Map 2 started on stick 2, Map 3 started on stick 3 and so on. Map  4 had bearings like 315 degrees and 180 degrees. We were with a partner and when we finished 2 maps we got to make our own.

Then after morning tea we got to start a reflection booklet. We had to write about what we learnt in EOTC Week so far. And finally, after lunch, we got to make bivouacs in the gully in our G.T.T Groups. We got to make shelters using things we found on the ground and some string and a plastic rubbish bag. We also got some scissors to make them. Aaron, Izzy and Gretta got soaked while Gemma and grace stayed dry.
