We have done some art based on the paintings of NZ artist Sarah C. We had to use block colours with no blends. The scene was "The Beach". At first we divided our scene into 3 parts; Foreground, Background and Horizon. We had surfboards, tents, paua shells, palm trees and deck chairs in the foreground. On the horizon we had sunsets, mountains, suns and moons. In the background we had sand, grass, sea and rocks. Here is a photo of some of our block pictures:
